The bronze nameplate on my desk reads Dr. Elise Hanover, virologist, for one simple reason: I’ve made it my mission to cure lycanthropy. My life depends on it.

I’ve been holed up in a secret Montana compound for . . . what year is it?  Let’s just say it’s been a while.  

 

But when the compound is blown to bits, and the biggest, baddest, craziest werewolf of all escapes, I’m thrown together with FBI agent, Nic Franklin.  Unfortunately, he’s the man whose heart I broke once upon a time;

 he hasn’t forgotten, or forgiven, me yet.  

 

However, we’re in a race against time and that big, bad werewolf. Then my powers begin to increase, which is worrisome since my boss, Edward Mandenauer, will be happy to put a silver bullet in my brain if he ever learns the truth.

 

The worst part? I love Nic again, or maybe I love him still,

and that fact could get us both killed.
